Their NCV programmes are designed for college students who would like to commence their journey toward a satisfying vocation early on.

CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Section for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, with regards to their range of courses.

False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are available at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year length.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These courses get started at tvet college engineering NCV level 2 along with the minimum prerequisite would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

At the time the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they might then have attained a grade 10 certificate. NCV Level three would be grade eleven and NCV Level 4 is grade 12.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, getting equivalent to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV amount two that's equivalent to an NQF level two.
